This calculator checks continuous residence requirements only. These other requirements for settlement on the Scale-up route are not checked here:
- You must be employed with PAYE earnings of at least £39,100 a year, or the lower threshold for your sponsorship date (SCU 18.1)
- You must have had equivalent monthly PAYE earnings for at least 24 of the last 36 months (SCU 18.2)
- English language — B1 speaking and listening now, rising to B2 for applications made on or after 26 March 2027 (SCU 16A.1)
- Knowledge of Life in the UK (Appendix KOL UK) (SCU 17.1)
- Suitability — you must not fall for refusal under Part Suitability, and must not be in breach of immigration laws or on immigration bail (SCU 14.1)
Qualifying period: 5 years (SCU 15.1). Absence limit: CR 3.1 — no more than 180 days outside the UK in any 12-month period.
